The Wicked Queer Puppet Theater presents The Cemetery Swingers and A Worm’s Wings

The Wicked Queer Puppet Theater is a collective of artists, musicians, poets, dancers and community volunteers making musical puppet theater in the South Coast of Massachusetts. Through large scale paper mache puppetry, movement and song we tell stories that challenge societal conditioning and call for action to get in right relationship with ourselves, each other and the Earth.

On October 27th the WQPT brings a very vibrant, spooky and thrilling 2 act show to The Rockwell Theater.
ACT 1:
The Cemetery Swingers are zombies from another dimension bringing songs of horror and humor to a stage near you! Zombie cousins Kim Graves and Death Bed Ed pair up to combine danceable rhythms with thrilling tales of shapeshifting beasts, animate skeletons, mad scientists, and the misadventures of zombies in love.
ACT 2:
“A Worms Wings” is a 13 song production with a full live band, puppetry and movement set to artist Hooly J Chan’s latest music album. This is a story about a worm who recognizes they are a worm in a world intentionally designed with structures and systems that are not built for the fluidity of a worm. This story is about learning how to free yourself, heal by facing your own darkness, befriend other soft bodied and hearted creatures, return to the Earth, connect with the beyond, spiral over and over again and endlessly dream for a more free and love filled world.
