We try to respond within 1 month. However, we cannot respond to everyone and if you do not hear back, please keep performing and creating! We will reach out if it is a good fit.

PRIVATE EVENTS

We are great for hosting birthday parties, wedding celebrations, and invite-only performances! Private events are not open to the public.

REHEARSAL RENTAL RATES

*3 hour minimum required for booking*

OFF-HOURS / MONDAY-FRIDAY / 9AM-4PM = $50-$100/hr

MONDAY-WEDNESDAY NIGHT / 4PM-12AM = $75-$150/hr

SATURDAY DAY / 9AM-4PM = $75-$125/hr

SUNDAY DAY / 9AM-4PM = $50-$125/hr

AGE LIMITS

Fridays and Saturdays are 21+ unless specifically noted.

Saturday Matinees, Sundays through Thursdays are either All Ages, 16+ or 18+.

Babes in arms are always free. Kids under 10 may attend most shows at the discretion of their parents.

ADA ACCESSIBLE – PARTIAL

ELEVATOR: Enter the street entrance for The Rockwell / Saloon – Before going down the stairs, THERE IS A DOOR ON THE RIGHT that says “ELEVATOR ENTRANCE” in small white letters. Enter into the mailroom and there is an elevator. Take that to “B” for BASEMENT. Proceed out of the white and wood foyer past the coat racks to the HOST STAND. Proceed right for The Rockwell and left for Saloon.

RESTROOMS: There is access to a full size restroom in Saloon from The Rockwell. Proceed to the Rockwell Ticket Booth and a Rockwell Employee will assist. When you leave The Rockwell, five feet past the Ticket Booth, is a door that says “EMPLOYEES ONLY.” Proceed through and there are larger restrooms to the right.

SEATING: The seating is raked, as in, there are three rows of seats with steps between each one. On the floor of The Rockwell, there is plenty of space for wheelchairs and a Rockwell employee can provide a seat for an accompanying attendee. For seated performances, viewing is unobstructed. Unfortunately, for standing music performances, viewing is obstructed.

BE AWARE OF SCAMS

We do not accept third-party tickets.

We use OpenDate, SeeTickets, and occasionally Eventbrite. We will not ask you to confirm information, unless from a @rockwell.org account.

BOX OFFICE

We do not have a box office to buy tickets in advance — yet! But rest assured that the online fees go to paying graphic designers, buying ink, paper, printing posters, and more! Thank you for your understanding and support.

BACKPACKS

Backpacks are not allowed. We do not have a coat check. Please leave backpacks at home.

Coat Check

Unfortunately, we do not have a coat check or bag check. There is space for your bag/coat by your seat. Please note: Any bags may be inspected upon entry to ensure safety.

SEATED or STANDING?

There are 145 fixed seats in the space at all times. Depending on the show the center is kept open for standing shows (most concerts) or seats are added into the center for a more intimate experience (most comedy shows). At any concert, you will be able to find a seat.

PARKING

Parking is tough! We recommend Grove Street, Day Street, and Buena Vista Parking Lots which can be found on Google Maps. Meters are free after 8pm.

PUBLIC TRANSIT

The closest train station is “Davis Square” off of the Red Line and is a 3-5 min walk from our door. There are also many MBTA buses that stop nearby.

WIFI & CELL SERVICE

There is limited cell service, but yes, of course there is wifi! Please take this into consideration for calls and coordinating with others. We do however offer free wifi so you can locate your tickets or message others when inside.
