Uncle Yak and his Magic Comeback
Presented by the Boston Fringe Festival
What happens when a comedy magician attempts a comeback after fifteen years of “regular life”? You get Uncle Yak, an award-winning magician with quick wit, jaw-dropping illusions, and just enough mischief to keep you guessing. Once a beloved performer across the Northeast, Uncle Yak returns to the stage after years of PTA meetings, office coffee pods, and whatever else passes for adulthood. His new PG-13 show is a celebration of chance, persistence, and the joy of the unexpected. Is he too old? Have his magical powers dried up? Was he ever any good? Find out as Uncle Yak wrestles with rust, relevance, and ridiculousness as he attempts the impossible: a comeback no one asked for, but all will enjoy.
