Score In The Glow

‘Score in the Glow’ is the first intimate, candlelit concert presented by the Riba Project Orchestra. Featuring original works by Pau Riba and Leo Wagner, this program fuses sweeping cinematic storytelling with rich classical orchestration to create an intimate, romantic night of music. Designed to be immersive, emotional, and visually striking, the concert offers a one-of-a-kind live experience for fans of film scores and contemporary classical music.

Pau Riba Martínez is a Barcelona-born composer for film and concert music. A classically trained pianist, he graduated with honors from the Conservatori del Liceu and is currently studying at Berklee College of Music. His work focuses on emotional storytelling through organic orchestration, bridging classical tradition with contemporary cinematic language. Influenced by Ennio Morricone, Joe Hisaishi, John Williams, and Frédéric Chopin, his music emphasizes expressive authenticity.

Riba composed the original score for the 100th Anniversary of The Phantom of the Opera, which premiered with live orchestra in Barcelona. His work has earned multiple composition and piano awards and has been featured by major media outlets, including El Periódico, Cadena SER, Ara, Enderrock, 3Cat, and RAC1.

Leonardo Wagner is a film composer with a strong foundation in classical music who actively explores modern styles, jazz, and genre-blending approaches. He thrives on stepping outside his comfort zone and embracing new musical challenges. He plays piano and sings in an operatic style, allowing him to bring both instrumental and vocal perspectives into his compositions. His experience includes scoring a student film, performing in a concert with an orchestra, and serving as a board member intern for Berklee College of Music’s Society of Composers. Through his music, Leo aims to inspire, move, and emotionally connect with audiences across diverse musical landscapes.

ELEVATOR: Enter the street entrance for The Rockwell / Saloon – Before going down the stairs, THERE IS A DOOR ON THE RIGHT that says “ELEVATOR ENTRANCE” in small white letters. Enter into the mailroom and there is an elevator. Take that to “B” for BASEMENT. Proceed out of the white and wood foyer past the coat racks to the HOST STAND. Proceed right for The Rockwell and left for Saloon.
