The love child of an indie-pop concert and a dance-theater performance, “PAPAYA” transports us into a basement jam-session-turned-sleepover. Focused on the interconnected histories of two women, this performance builds a world from memories of queer relationality that reveals the fantastical, intimate, and bittersweet of what once was. A collaborative project by MELLE. and bog berries, this show combines dance, theater, and live music to create a narrative world that indulges in queer feminine relationality. The performance includes all original choreography, original music by Cooper Evello of bog berries, and covers of songs by queer artists including FLETCHER, Haley Kiyoko, and King Princess.
Presented by MELLE and bog berries
