¡Cantores!

Join us for a night of celebrating 3 incredible songwriters from South and Latin America!  Featuring Mercedes Escobar, Felipe Osorio, Nicolás Emden.

Mercedes Escobar:
Bio:
Fluctuating between unleashed and sweet, Guatemalan singer-songwriter Mercedes Escobar’s raw, guttural vocals dominate any stage. Her voice has been likened to a mix between Linda Ronstadt and Howlin’ Wolf. She’s created a unique genre which blends the rawness of old blues and country vocals and guitar, with the intensity of magical realism lyrics and the sonic traditions of her home culture; All while staying true to her modern values against prejudice in music, race and gender. She calls this “Latin Americana.”
Rana Osorio:
Bio:
Rana Osorio is a Chilean artist who explores different aspects of life through his music. In his album “Céfiros y Primaveras” and the single “El Mar y La Señora”, genres like rock, jazz and Latin roots come to visit us. Creating a complex musical experience and an emotional rendezvous with the audience.

Nicolás Emden:
Bio:
Originally from Chilean Patagonia, Nicolás Emden is a singer-songwriter and composer currently based in Boston MA. His music navigates between South American folk rock and Americana, with soulful and evocative vocals in Spanish lyrics. During 2024 and 2025, Nicolás has shared stage and open for renowned South American artists touring the U.S. and Canada, which included concerts at Sony Hall NYC and Le Studio TD Montreal opening for Gondwana, and Club Passim in Cambridge opening and collaborating with Chilean artist Nano Stern.
