Hairy Butthole

Hairy Butthole is a one-person play based on the Korean saying, “If you laugh while crying, hair grows out of your butthole.” The play is based on Youngmi Mayer’s memoir I’m Laughing Because I’m Crying” (Little, Brown) and features 3 acts where Youngmi tells traditional Korean folktales in character as her grandmother, mother and herself. The show is done in a traditional Korean format, including a traditional drum and costumes. In between acts characters from the folktales perform short sets.

UNFORTUNATELY, THERE IS NO LATE SEATING FOR COMEDY & THEATER.
Seating begins 30-60 minutes before show time. We sit center and front sections first, side sections last. If you want a central seat, please arrive early. Show will begin no later than 15 minutes after showtime. No refunds for late entry.
