Dead of Winter 4
Days are dark! Light the fires of revolt! Melt the ice and harken spring! It’s the fourth annual Dead of Winter cabaret spectacular at the Rockwell in Davis Square. This all-ages event features:
- Haunting live music by the Velvet Dirtmunchers. Protest punk and Gothic Cabaret!
- Luscious text, spoken word. Poetry reading by Gregory Glenn aka THE MAY QUEEN.
- Humanist puppetry, movement, and mask by Sova Dance & Puppet Theater
An evening of interactive theater, song, and artful kinship to warm the cold winter’s night.
The Velvet Dirtmunchers are an all-original genre-bending band from Boston, MA featuring sultry vocals, squeezebox, and impudent (mouthy! hellacious!) horns.
