Break

“Break” is an absurd dark comedy about love, death, parenting, and broken dishes. It begins with a man stacking dishes on another man’s back, unable to escape, while in a booth above two women watch. Over the course of the play, rules and relationships are repeatedly set up and broken as a man referred to as Dishes tries to escape.
Over the past month, local playwright and director, Lindsay Carpenter, collaborated with five actors to workshop her play, “Break”. After a limited rehearsal process and many revisions, come watch a play reading of a play in development. The actors will have scripts in hand as they present the text.

The cast features Bryce Flint-Somerville, Destiny Di Marco Davila, Elijah Brown, Deby Xiadani, and Noah Leikind.
