There is Something Big going on at The Rockwell on June 8th. This monthly comedy showcase, hosted by Nick Chambers, brings some of the country’s best stand-up comedians to Boston to perform at this intimate venue. This month features co-hosts of The Strange Behavior podcast: Ryan Donahue & Jeff Scheen!
Ryan Donahue burst onto the Boston Comedy scene in 2012 and within two years was featured at the Great American Comedy Festival, Montreal’s Just for Laughs Festival, and had landed his own show Strange Behavior on the intimate stage of The Davis Square Theatre. In 2016 he moved to NYC, and the show’s void was filled by comedian Nick Chambers as Something Big, where it continues to bring the country’s best stand-up comedians to the venue, which has since been renamed as The Rockwell.
Since relocating to NYC, Donahue has appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the HBO series Crashing, and has reinvented Strange Behavior as a weekly podcast using odd childhood experiences as a jump-off point with guests. The popular podcast is co-hosted by Chicago native Jeff Scheen who has been featured at the Montreaux Comedy Festival in Switzerland and was a finalist in the 2016 Laughing Skull Festival in Atlanta.
Coming full circle Strange Behavior now returns to The Rockwell stage on June 8th, as Nick Chambers hosts Something Big. Featuring Tooky Kavanagh and hosted by Nick Chambers.
