Smoke & Shadows is the Rockwell’s monthly burlesque and variety show that defies decade and genre\, each time offering a new mix of performers from near and far. \n**MASKS ARE REQUIRED WHILE ATTENDING A SHOW AT THE ROCKWELL**\nDoors at 9:00pm\nShow at 9:30pm\nSeating; $28| General Admission | 21+\nAccessibility: The Rockwell is wheelchair accessible \n* * * * * \nStill in effect as of June 1\, 2022\, we will require all guests to wear masks while with us during performances. This includes hallways\, lobby\, bar area\, restrooms\, and once you are seated. You may remove your mask when actively sipping on that tasty beverage from the bar but mask back up once you’re done. We’ll have zero tolerance of noses in public spaces. \nBe aware that these guidelines are ever-changing and if anything changes we will be in touch. SUMMARY:The Black Feathers
DESCRIPTION:The ability to write songs that are both modern and ancient is a rare thing. The product of an arcane art of weaving in traditional influences so thoroughly that they become the warp and weft of fresh creations. \nThe Black Feathers\, made up of Ray Hughes and Sian Chandler\, are two such talents. They first became aware of the magic between them while collaborating on several musical projects\, becoming The Black Feathers and life partners in 2012. \nAmericana\, Folk\, and Acoustic Indie Rock sensibilities coexist comfortably in their musical world\, with Hughes’ guitar work buoying the kind of harmonies often only heard in family bands. \nThe Covid-19 pandemic brought their Spring 2020 tour to an abrupt end; returning them to their UK home. The world gave us all a pandemic and The Black Feathers will give us an extensive tour with their new album ANGEL DUST & CYANIDE which is scheduled for release in Summer of ‘22. Expect to hear songs from the new\, yet unreleased album\, on the upcoming tour. Their tour takes them from the west coast to the midwest and ends up on the east coast late Fall 2022.
