SUMMARY:Commedia Dell’Arte: The Mastery of Mask & Physical Comedy with Mycah Hogan
DESCRIPTION:Commedia Dell’Arte: The Mastery of Mask & Physical Comedy with Mycah Hogan\nStep into the vibrant\, high-stakes\, and highly stupid world of Commedia dell’Arte in this immersive two-day intensive. Designed for actors\, educators\, and anyone who’s mask-curious\, thiis workshop aims to strip away the “polite” performer to reveal the raw\, hilarious\, and wildly human archetypes that have fueled comedy for centuries. \nParticipants will explore the rigorous physicality and spontaneous play required to bring the iconic stock characters—Arlecchino\, Capitano\, Pantalone\, Dottore\, and others — to life. Through mask work\, ensemble devising\, and the study of lazzi (classic comedic business)\, you’ll learn how to activate these characters in your own body and build authentic (and sometimes surprising) connections to the audience. \nWhether you’re looking to sharpen your comedic timing\, expand your physical range\, or simply reclaim a sense of wonder in your craft\, this weekend is about unlocking the power of the mask. \n\n\nDoors: 9:00AM \nStart: 9:30AM \nEnd: 3:30PM \nAge Limit: This workshop is 18+ \nRefund Policy: All sales are final. No Refunds. \nADA Accessibility: The Rockwell is partially ADA Accessible with an elevator and restrooms in saloon wide enough for wheelchair use\, which is available at all times.

SUMMARY:A Moment To Spare
DESCRIPTION:A Moment To Spare\n\n\nA Moment to Spare is an interactive comedy show telling a story about a fool (me\, Colin) arriving at an existential crossroads after the death of his father (How cliché\, I know right?). \nHe and the audience wind up getting sucked into the video game of his life where the objective is simple – rewrite the past so he can be “perfect” in the future. Oh\, and just a heads up – he will need your help. If all goes well\, this could fix him and probably change the world as we know it. \nIt’s part clown show\, part stand-up\, and part narrative storytelling where the audience gets a say in how the story gets told. \nBio: \nColin is a comedian and writer who’s performed in theaters all over the country. He is a member of The Clown School Company and is currently performing as a part of this year’s Hollywood Fringe Festival. He has studied/performed at UCB\, The Groundlings\, The Clown School\, The Elysian Theater\, The Comedy Store\, the Hollywood Improv\, and many more… \n\n \nInstagram link:\nhttps://www.instagram.com/colincoughlin/\n\n  \nTimeline: \nDOORS: 6:15 PM \nSHOW: 7:00 PM \nAge Limit: This event is All Ages\, suggested 16+ \nID: Valid ID required for alcohol consumption \nLimited Late Seating: Due to the architecture of our space\, the entrance is next to the stage and it is disruptive to the performer to enter late. SUMMARY:bellwire
DESCRIPTION:bellwire\n \nSHOW DESCRIPTION: bellwire return to Boston with a new song in their bittersweet register tackling love\, existence\, and entropy. “LOVEBIRDS” (featuring a fellow sweet prince of New England songcraft\, Jake McKelvie\, singing harmony). The song will come out on the morning of the show. \nSince frontman Tyler berd’s move to the west coast\, the full bellwire is at most a twice-a-year sighting in these haunts. Don’t sleep on this\, especially with their roadworn pirate pedal-steel player Jonee Earthquake at the slide and pedals. \nThey will be joined by two local favorites: Yes\, Chef and Mel Starr and the Astral Projection. \nARTIST BIOS: \nbellwire is a New England rock band first formed in the summer of 2011\, now most commonly spotted in the fall. Early experiments in lo-fi\, surf\, and punk gave way to their jangly power-pop style typified on the EP\, Dog Thoughts. Their self-titled 2022 LP is an alt-country concept album that tells a story of love and loss (single: Dreamin’). Often appearing with New England pirate-punk stalwart Jonee Earthquake on pedal steel\, their high-energy performances still put lyrics and story first. \nBandcamp / Tidal  / Apple  / Spotify / Instagram / Facebook \nYes\, Chef! is a folk rock n roll trio cooking up catchy tunes with punchy basslines. Their songs use clowns\, birds\, weather\, and magically mundane (or maybe just random?) images to convey emotional experiences. \nInstagram / Bandcamp \nBased out of Boston\, MA\, Mel Starr is a self-taught singer/songwriter inspired by the folk tradition and the fingerpicking style. With no formal music education\, intuition is deeply integrated into their music practice. Mel’s songs are soothing and\, at times\, haunting. They reflect on family\, grief\, relationships and finding oneself in their writing. \n\nMel cares deeply about mental health and community wellbeing\, using music as a path to bring people together in learning and collaboration. In their opinion\, it is one of life’s true pleasures to see how a song can transform when instruments and minds conspire to create something new. \nWebsite / Instagram / Bandcamp \n\nDOORS: 7:00 PM \nSHOW: 8:00 PM \nAge Limit: This event is All Ages \nID: Valid ID required for alcohol consumption \nLimited Late Seating: Due to the architecture of our space\, the entrance is next to the stage and it is disruptive to the performer to enter late. SUMMARY:Hippies & Cowboys w Velvet Daydream
DESCRIPTION:Hippies & Cowboys\nwith Velvet Daydream\n \nHippies And Cowboys are a powerhouse rock ’n’ soul band out of Nashville\, TN\, built on grit\, groove\, and the raw electricity of classic Southern rock—revived with a modern edge. Their sound fuses deep-pocket soul\, blues\, and rock ’n’ roll\, channeling icons such as Aerosmith\, The Allman Brothers\, Tedeschi Trucks and others. \nRooted in tradition and sharpened by the road\, Hippies And Cowboys cut their early recordings in legendary rooms including FAME Studios\, Muscle Shoals Sound\, and East Avalon—capturing the same spirit that shaped generations of American music. Their debut release\, Live at Fox and Locke (2023)\, bottled the raw\, no-holds-barred energy of their live show and quickly earned critical acclaim. The follow-up EP\, Fork in the Road (2024)\, doubled down with a gritty\, hard-hitting collection of songs that\nshowcased their deep Southern roots\, tight musicianship\, and fearless songwriting. A live double album and full concert film are slated for release in 2026. \nVelvet Daydream Instagram \nDenver Rock N Roll \n \nDOORS: 7:00 PM \nSHOW: 8:00 PM \nAge Limit: This event is AA \nID: Valid ID required for Entry \nStart Time: Performances will begin no later than 15 minutes after stated show time. \nRefund Policy: All sales are final. SUMMARY:Abby Holliday + Charli Adams
DESCRIPTION:Abby Holliday + Charli Adams\nThere comes a time in every artist’s career when the art form transcends a mere outlet for self-expression and becomes a universal gift to mankind. For some it takes years\, for Abby Holliday it was there from the start. Her vulnerable introspection and brutal lyricism combined with mind-bending sonic sensibilities and a distinct production style immediately fused a bond between her and her loyal fan base. Holliday masterfully guides listeners through moments in time extremely specific to her own life that puts words to collective experiences of the human condition\, reaching into places we might not have known existed prior. \nAbby found her voice during her early years of college where she began quietly writing songs in the confines of her room. After a friend heard the songs and encouraged her to share them\, Abby met producer Jonathan Class and set off to record her debut album WHEN WE’RE FAR APART I FALL APART. It was in these studio moments where Abby’s sound began to take shape\, a launchpad for her sophomore album I’M OK NO I’M NOT. Holliday and Class experiment with a wide range of sounds from vocoded vocal stacks\, to jarring synths\, to lush strings and piano\, to a tasteful blend of organic and synthetic rhythm sections amassing in a discography that runs the gambit of the most beautiful songs to songs that smack you in the face with unforgettable hooks and driving beats. CRACK A SMILE COME ON STAY A WHILE\, Holliday’s highly anticipated junior record\, is out now. \n \n  \n“Former cheer captain” isn’t something you always see on the resume of a rising\, alternative singer-songwriter. For Charli Adams\, who grew up across several small towns in rural Alabama\, an outward display of optimism might have been the only way to get by. \nCharli Adams was born in a dollar-store town in northern Alabama\, the kind of place you might hear Kacey Musgraves sing about. “I didn’t grow up in a musical family\, but when I wrote my first song it clicked for me\,” she says.”| could be melodramatic about my life in a way l hadn’t in any other form of expression. When I wrote music\, I felt like I could say it all. Songwriting is essentially my only outlet to be unfiltered.” \nFeeling desperately constrained\, Adams left high school at 16 and started making trips to Nashville where she found herself in the alternative music scene. By 17 she was living on her own in Nashville. In between a serving job and finishing high school online\, she would drive the back roads of Tennessee listening to albums from The Cure to The 1975 and seeing every possible underground show Nashville had to offer. These formative years were captured on her debut EP\, Good At Being Young. In 2021\, Adams released her critically acclaimed debut album Bullseye which featured collaborations with Novo Amor\, Ruston Kelly and Nightly. Throughout her career\, she has written for the likes of peach pit\, Chloe Moriondo\, and Valley. Up next\, she’s working on her new EP (expected mid-2023). \n \n  \nPresented by Get To The Gig & MassConcerts \nAges: Show age differs by the day.
