SUMMARY:60 Juno
DESCRIPTION:60 Juno\n60Juno leads Central California’s post-punk scene with sounds of heavy nostalgia felt deep in the chest\, all beginning in the lonely bedroom of a 2020-quarantined teen in Merced. Inspired by the 2016 surge of Southern California’s DIY Indie-Rock scene\, as well as the ever-popular Soundcloud era of rap\, 60Juno realized that creating his own sound wasn’t as far away as he once thought. The independent 19-year old is the driving force behind all of the bass\, drums\, guitar and vocals that can be heard on each track listened to by nearly 150 thousand people across the world. Though inspired by the likes of The Drums and Current Joys\, 60Juno takes the usually wistful\, dreamy surf-rock sound a step further into post-punk territory with heightened energy and rough\, low vocals thrown on top. What may have started off as a drive to create for the sake of creating has now transformed into a push toward establishing a notable sound worth remembering. With no plans of stopping any time soon\, 60Juno only has up to go from here. — https://www.last.fm/music/60+juno/+wiki \n \nPresented by Get To The Gig & MassConcerts \nThis event is All Ages  // Valid ID required for ENTRY \nDoors 7:00 PM  \nShow 8:00 PM  \nREFUNDS DETERMINED BY GET TO THE GIG \nWheelchair Accessibility: Please call the host at (617) 628-4444 to let you in through the elevator in The Gorin Building.

SUMMARY:Junior Varsity
DESCRIPTION:Junior Varsity\nJunior Varsity is an LA based trio made up of singer/songwriter-producers Greg Aram\, Zach Michel\, and Brooke Danaher. After dropping a critically acclaimed 2 pack EP with Warner Records\, JV are ready to round out their rollout with an independent third EP before leading into their debut album. Unlike most bands\, JV built their career off of being the best kept secret of the music industry – often throwing underground shows or being written up in DIY grunge magazines for notoriety. Fans of JV know them as being the rowdy garage punk band next door\, but this next project sets them up to cross into the mainstream industry. \nAfter putting in the work\, JV are prepared to bring their die hard fans along as they propel into superstardom. JV are focused on continuing to establish themselves as world builders. They write and produce their own music\, while simultaneously playing a critical role in their visual aesthetic and brand. They also music direct and build their own shows. They hope to scale the traditional way – one fan at a time – without skipping steps. Although self identified underdogs\, JV is anything but that. Their grit and determination as a band to achieve success is unparalleled. \nWith bands in the digital age focused on virtual connection\, JV is set on physical connection with fans. They recently returned from runs with Jean Dawson and LANY. They are preparing a run of long long awaited headline shows off of their forthcoming project as well. As they scale\, JV are being recognized by the likes of Complex\, Billboard\, Ones to Watch\, SPIN\, and more. JV is prepared to show the world they’re no longer second best… but here to get first prize. Their debut EP as a trio\, My Star comes out in November 2024. — https://www.teamwass.com/music/junior-varsity/ \n \n  \nPresented by Get To The Gig & MassConcerts \nThis event is All Ages  // Valid ID required for alcohol consumption \nDoors 7:00 PM  \nShow 8:00 PM  \nREFUNDS DETERMINED BY GET TO THE GIG \nWheelchair Accessibility: Please call the host at (617) 628-4444 to let you in through the elevator in The Gorin Building.

SUMMARY:SOLD OUT! Moving Mountains
DESCRIPTION:Moving Mountains\nMoving Mountains is an American rock band from Purchase\, New York. Combining elements of emo and post-rock\, the band has often been compared to such acts as The Appleseed Cast and Thrice. \nFor some bands\, there is a core vision and purpose that shines through from beginning to the end. For others\, there is an evolution of an idea\, a constant metamorphosis whose end and scope is unknown. For Moving Mountains\, the evolution not only encapsulates their music\, but a larger overarching concept of what defines ‘Moving Mountains’. That isn’t to say that the Purchase\, NY quartet have an artier than thou complex\, but it does touch on an evolving aesthetic undercurrent and a belief that a band can create an experiential vision that goes beyond music. \n \n  \nThis event is 21+ // Valid ID required for ENTRY \nDoors 7:00 PM  \nShow 8:00 PM  \nShow will begin no later than 15 minutes after showtime. \nREFUNDS DETERMINED BY GET TO THE GIG \nWheelchair Accessibility: Please call the host at (617) 628-4444 to let you in through the elevator in The Gorin Building.
