Guided by the memory of his absent father (represented as the ghost of George Washington in drag)\, he finds himself acting at the Faire in an abridged/audience-participatory production of Hamlet. Thrown into intense Shakespearean dialogue training (and the broken marriage of the production’s diva director and infidel star\,) it’s clear that Tripp has bit off more than he can chew\, but with two big off-Broadway producers coming to watch the show\, Tripp realizes that even his best may not be enough.
