DESCRIPTION:Summer Breakspeare\n  \nSUMMER BREAKSPEARE 2025!\nSchool break theatre camps for 8-12 year olds led by professional actors and teaching artists from Actors’ Shakespeare Project. Join us for one or for both – APPLY NOW at the bottom of this page! \n\nJUNE BREAKSPEARE 2025\nTHE TEMPEST \nby William Shakespeare \nMONDAY\, JUNE 23 – FRIDAY\, JUNE 27 \nOur young actors will explore and rehearse an abbreviated Tempest\, journeying to Shakespeare’s magical island as they take on the characters and elements of design. Shipwrecks\, family betrayals\, and mystical surprises at every turn  – you won’t want to miss it! \nThe week will culminate with a performance on Friday. \n\nAUGUST BREAKSPEARE 2025\nMACBETH \nby William Shakespeare \nMONDAY\, AUGUST 25 – FRIDAY\, AUGUST 29 \nOur young actors will explore and rehearse an abbreviated and age-appropriate Macbeth\, traveling to Scotland as they take on the characters and elements of design. Witches\, ghosts\, and supernatural moments abound\, as we see just how far Macbeth will go to gain power. “Double\, double\, toil and trouble!” \nThe week will culminate with a performance on Friday. \n  \nLOCATION AND SPAN OF DAY: \nThe Rockwell (Davis Square)\, 255 Elm Street\, Somerville\, 02144 (Fully in-person program) \n9 am – 3 pm daily \nTUITION: \n$500 for each camp \nSliding scale scholarships available \n  \nAPPLY NOW! \nFor more info: lindsay@actorsshakespeareproject.org
