Sit back\, relax\, and bask in a night of dreamy classical lo-fi. \nBIO:\nDREAMGLOW\n@dreamglowband\nhttps://dreamglowband.bandcamp.com/album/m-lo-fi \nDREAMGLOW formed in 2020 as the dreamscape of singer-composers Nathan Halbur and Angela Yam\, to explore sounds of classical lo-fi\, vocal harmony\, and improvisation. Their debut EP mélo-fi reimagines the classical canon\, with works by composers including Debussy\, Handel\, Poulenc\, Hahn\, Purcell\, Fauré\, and Stravinsky. In February 2024\, an expanded DREAMGLOW lineup performed experimental improvisations accompanying silent films. DESCRIPTION:DRAMA QUEEN is an original rom-com musical set in 2005 surrounding a celebrity gossip magazine in NYC called\, well\, “Drama Queen.” Meghan Monroe\, a quickly-rising journalist with a disastrous love life\, is faced with a moral choice: write a scandalous tell-all article about a Hollywood starlet\, Audrey Adams\, and get promoted to editor-in-chief\, or refuse\, and get fired. Can she destroy someone’s life to get ahead\, and pick up the pieces of that disastrous love life we mentioned earlier? On her journey\, she also comes across a charming British attorney\, an international heartthrob\, and keeps running into her ex\, whose proposal she may have sprinted from. With catchy\, bubbly music\, a hilarious script\, vivid personalities\, and plenty of drama\, there’s a lot to love within the sparkly world of DQ. \n@dramaqueenmusical on Instagram \nWritten and directed by Charlene Tashnizi\, assistant directed by Ashley Guan\, choreographed by Karina Gonzalez\, assistant music directed by Owen Olson\, stage managed by Zoe Fischthal.\n\nCHARLENE TASHNIZI is a musical theater composer originally from Simi Valley\, California.
