With a love for physical comedy rooted in a childhood obsession with Jim Carrey\, Deby has developed a unique voice that blends playfulness\, heart\, and fearless experimentation.\n\n\n \n\n\nHer work has been recognized nationally: she directed Cooking with Kathryn\, which won Best Physical Comedy at the FRIGID Fringe Festival and People’s Choice at PORTFringe. This New York-based comedy group is fresh off a sold-out run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival\, which The Guardian called “smart\, fresh and funny enough to revitalize the form.” Their videos have appeared on Adult Swim\, Comedy Central and Cracked\, and their live show has toured the US and UK. Blending tight written premises with sharp ensemble riffing\, Simple Town delivers sketch comedy that’s highbrow\, absurd\, and deeply silly.\n  \nSimple Town is a New York based comedy group that makes films and performs live.
