SUMMARY:Hunter Flynn: Back to My Roots Tour
DESCRIPTION:Hunter Flynn: Back to My Roots Tour\nWith special guest Evan Cyote \nPresented by The Rockwell and Peachtree Entertainment. \nHunter Flynn is a Kentucky-born singer-songwriter and visual artist whose work resonates with emotional honesty and a deep connection to Appalachian culture. Raised in Pulaski County\, Flynn’s path to music and art wasn’t a straight line—it was forged through adversity and personal transformation. In early 2022\, after surviving a life-altering car accident\, he decided to fully embrace his creative passions\, launching a music career rooted in authenticity\, vulnerability\, and soul. \nDrawing inspiration from the landscapes and stories of Appalachia\, Flynn blends elements of folk\, country\, soul\, and gospel into a genre-defying sound he calls Appalachian Soul Music. His lyrics\, often reflective and raw\, tell stories of pain\, redemption\, resilience\, and identity—underscored by his powerful vocals and minimalist arrangements. These qualities are showcased in his debut EP\, Appalachian Soul\, released in May 2023\, which quickly gained traction for its emotional depth and stripped-back sincerity. \nLearn more about Hunter Flynn and his music at www.hunterflynn.com. \nDOORS: 7:00 PM \nSHOW: 8:00 PM \nAge Limit: This event is All Ages \nID: Valid ID required for Alcohol Consumption \nStart Time: Performances will begin no later than 15 minutes after stated show time. \nRefund Policy: All sales are final. SUMMARY:The Commute
DESCRIPTION:The Commute\n\nSHOW DESCRIPTION: Four strangers are trapped in a tunnel during a sudden stop on the Red Line. As tension builds\, they are forced to confront each other-and themselves. The Commute is a dark\, thought provoking new comedy by Karin Anell\, exploring human behavior under pressure. Who are we really\, behind our masks? The evening show will be followed by an interactive talk-back and panel discussing the evolving role of technology in our lives. \nARTIST STATEMENT: “I love listening to people’s life stories. My scripts are often based on individuals’ lived experiences and I believe in theatre as a powerful vehicle to bring these engaging narratives to life. Theatre can bring people together to start important conversations\, and I don’t mean discussions around who was the better actor\, or whether the third act was too long. I want people to leave the theatre and spend the next couple of hours discussing what they saw. How did this piece make them feel? What are they thinking right now? Did this play open their eyes to something new; see the world\, and themselves\, in a different light? \nI like to include interactive sessions with a subject matter expert(s) after performances. I moderate these sessions\, inviting the audience to participate and ask questions about what they saw. Themes I have brought to life include a mother’s guilt\, body image\, and our biggest fears. \nIt does not take a million-dollar production that runs for 3 hours to engage an audience and stimulate an interesting debate. I believe in: \n\nSimplicity and adaptability-use modern technology to make theatre more engaging and entertaining\nShort plays that pack a punch\, using local talent\nCommunity-based theatre accessible to all” — Karin Anell\n\nSOCIAL MEDIAS: Facebook: tcsquaredtheatre / Instagram: @tc2theatre \n\nTimeline: \nEARLY SHOW: \nDOORS: 1:15 PM \nSHOW: 2:00 PM \nLATE SHOW (With Panel!): \nDOORS: 5:15 PM \nSHOW: 6:00 PM \nAge Limit: Some mature themes. Recommended for ages 15+ \nID: Valid ID required for Alcohol Consumption \nLimited Late Seating: Due to the architecture of our space\, the entrance is next to the stage and it is disruptive to the performer to enter late. We will seat you if there is an opener but once the headliner starts\, you may be allowed to sit in the lobby but will not be allowed to enter. Please know this is for the best experience for the artist. No refunds for late entry. \nStart Time: Performances will begin no later than 15 minutes after stated show time. \nRefund Policy: All sales are final. SUMMARY:Jackie Evans - SOLD OUT!
DESCRIPTION:Jackie Evans – SOLD OUT!\nWith Elli Rowe \nFor New York-based singer/songwriter Jackie Evans\, music has always been the only option\, but Evans only began releasing songs under her own name last year. Her style\, often likened to the timeless writing of Carole King\, Billy Joel\, and Sara Bareilles is\, in part\, the byproduct of years spent taking requests at piano bars. As a gigging musician\, Evans has tried it all; from playing standards on cruise ships\, to performing at theme parks and majoring in theater. The ease and confidence she carries in live performance has caught the attention of other musicians\, leading to collaborations with Vulfpeck\, and support slots on tour with Lake Street Dive and Jensen McRae. Her debut EP entitled “Most of the Time” released on June 26th\, 2026. — PACNYC \n \n  \nPresented by Get To The Gig & MassConcerts \nDoors 7:00 PM  \nShow 8:00 PM  \nAge Limit: This event is All Ages \nID: Valid ID required for alcohol consumption \nRefund Policy: REFUNDS DETERMINED BY GET TO THE GIG \nADA Accessibility: The Rockwell is partially ADA Accessible with an elevator and restrooms in saloon wide enough for wheelchair use.

SUMMARY:AYĖL\, Belen\, DÀN\, & Aydan Hill
DESCRIPTION:AYĖL\, Belen\, DÀN\, & Aydan Hill\nJoin us at The Rockwell for an evening of intimate songwriting\, cinematic soundscapes\, and genre-blending performances. Featuring AYEL\, Belen\, DÁN\, and Aydan Hill\, the night brings together four independent artists with distinct musical backgrounds and perspectives\, moving between folk\, pop\, alternative\, and cinematic influences. Through personal songwriting\, expressive vocals\, and immersive arrangements\, each artist offers a different take on identity\, vulnerability\, and human connection. \n\n\n\n\n\nAYEL is a French singer-songwriter\, producer\, pianist\, and film composer based in Boston. Her sound blends pop\, R&B\, soul\, rock\, electronic\, and cinematic influences\, bringing together intimate songwriting and expansive arrangements. Currently studying Film Scoring at Berklee College of Music\, she moves between writing for her own project\, collaborating with other artists\, and composing for film. Her music explores vulnerability\, self-expression\, and the search for connection\, with the intention of making listeners feel seen\, heard\, and less alone. Her recent work includes the release “Better” and the placement of “The Story Never Ends” in All American. \nBelen is a francophone German-Filipino-American folk-adjacent singer-songwriter and multidisciplinary artist based in Boston. Known for her acoustic textures and tender songwriting\, she draws on her multicultural upbringing and visual-art background to create music rooted in vulnerability and emotional storytelling. Born in Berkeley\, California\, and raised between a rural village in southern France and Germany\, she brings a distinctive perspective to her work. She taught herself guitar at 16 before moving to Paris to study music\, and now attends Berklee College of Music on a full-tuition scholarship. Her cover of “Ma Meilleure Ennemie” from Netflix’s Arcane reached over three million views across platforms\, and she is currently preparing her upcoming EP\, From Above. \nDÁN is an Italian songwriter\, vocalist\, producer\, and composer based in Boston. Originally from northern Italy\, his musical journey has taken him from festivals and live performance to Berklee College of Music\, where he expanded his craft in music production\, recording\, and engineering. His upcoming debut album\, magari\, marks a new chapter in his artistic journey: a personal and evolving project shaped by collaboration\, experimentation\, and a desire to create music that feels authentic and deeply connected to his experiences. Blending his Italian roots with the influences he has encountered along the way\, DÁN continues to explore and shape his own sound and artistic voice. \nAydan Hill is an emerging independent artist born in Moscow\, Russia\, and now based in Boston\, Massachusetts. Blurring genre boundaries\, his music draws inspiration from artists such as Frank Ocean\, Sade\, and Dominic Fike. A third-culture kid who speaks Russian\, Spanish\, and English\, Aydan channels his experiences of traveling and living across different countries into songwriting that explores identity\, belonging\, and human connection. Ahead of his upcoming album\, Coming of Age\, he has been building a presence in Boston through distinctive live performances and collaborations with the city’s creative community. His releases are accompanied by cinematic visuals created alongside local filmmakers\, photographers\, dancers\, and other artists. \n\n\n\n\n\nSOCIAL MEDIA: @ayel.wav / @builtbybelen / @daniele.gemellii / @aydan.hiill \n\n\nPresented by The Rockwell \nTimeline: \nDOORS: 7:00 PM \nSHOW: 8:00 PM \nAge Limit: This event is All Ages \nID: Valid ID required for Alcohol Consumption \nStart Time: Performances will begin no later than 15 minutes after stated show time. \nRefund Policy: All sales are final. SUMMARY:Jake Klar with Noble Dust & Hayley Sabella
DESCRIPTION:Live Music Template\nJoin us at The Rockwell for a curated evening of Folk Rock and Alt-Country\, celebrating Jake Klar’s album release\, with special guests Noble Dust and Hayley Sabella. \nABOUT JAKE KLAR: \nYears Go Through Me Now\, a new collaborative album by singer-songwriter Jake Klar and folk-rock trio Blue Ranger\, is a quiet triumph of such glimpses. In its nine songs and two interludes\, I hear the motions of weathered hands\, the gentle rush of country roads\, the laughter of old friends and the silence of rumination — the quilt of dreams and doings we call a life. \n  \nGoldFlakePaint describes Klar’s music as “An urgent meeting of folk\, roots and good old rock and roll that carries with it an unbreakable spirit.” A fixture in New England’s folk scene\, Klar has toured nationally\, played festivals including Otis Mountain Get Down and FreshGrass\, and supported the likes of Cut Worms\, Antwaun Stanley\, and Al Olender. \n  \nKlar has spent the past decade working as a letterpress printer\, art store clerk\, bartender\, carpenter\, illustrator\, graphic designer\, musician (touring DIY on his own and as a member of Prewn and Hannah Mohan)\, live sound engineer\, merch guy\, and custodian. His songwriting\, from the misty-eyed title track to the down-home boogie-woogie of “Driving Home Through the Country” (here recast murmurously from an earlier electric version)\, dwells in a rustic realm borne by his crackling voice and hearthside acoustic guitar. “That Forever” is a haunted\, fragmented road-movie that emerges from its dust like a lost Basement Tapes recording\, while the last-call piano ballad “Louisa” wouldn’t sound amiss on After The Gold Rush. \nSOCIAL MEDIA: @jakeklar_ / @nobledustmusic / @haysab \nPresented by The Rockwell \nTimeline: \nDOORS: 7:00 PM \nSHOW: 8:00 PM \nAge Limit: This event is All Ages/18+/21+ \nID: Valid ID required for Alcohol Consumption/Entry \nStart Time: Performances will begin no later than 15 minutes after stated show time. \nRefund Policy: All sales are final. SUMMARY:Ms. Ezra Furman Doing What She Wants
DESCRIPTION:Ms. Ezra Furman Doing What She Wants\nSHOW DESCRIPTION: Ezra Furman will perform music\, poetry\, or anything she wishes\, with or without other performers\, depending on how she feels. \nSupport from Sweet Petunia \nARTIST BIOS: \nEzra Furman is a critically acclaimed American singer\, songwriter\, and author known for her raw\, folk-punk style and vulnerable lyricism exploring queer identity\, anxiety\, and religion. She gained widespread recognition for composing the original soundtrack for the hit Netflix series Sex Education. \nSweet Petunia\nMairead Guy (they/them) and Maddy Simpson (she/her) met at Berklee College of Music in 2018\, bonding over a shared love of Simon & Garfunkel and Gillian Welch & Dave Rawlings during a rehearsal delay. That connection grew into Sweet Petunia\, a duo now twice nominated for Best Folk Act by the Boston Music Awards and a performer at festivals like Between Days and Nice\, a Fest.\nSweet Petunia’s debut LP\, Foggy Mountain Mental Breakdown\, arrives March 13th via Righteous Babe Records. The album explores breakups\, outgrown friendships\, and self-discovery\, with a title that nods to Flatt & Scruggs’ classic bluegrass tune. It blends the traditional folk that shaped the duo with the punk and DIY influences of their local scene.\nSOCIAL MEDIAS: @ezra.furman.visions \nDOORS: 7:00 PM \nSHOW: 8:00 PM \nAge Limit: This event is All Ages \nID: Valid ID required for alcohol consumption \nLimited Late Seating: Due to the architecture of our space\, the entrance is next to the stage and it is disruptive to the performer to enter late.
